This is one of my favorite of your comics. It’s a perfect, albeit genderswapped depiction of me and my void. My fluffy fellow will roam the house yelling for his mommy, turning into the biggest purr machine as soon as he is in my arms.
This exact scene has played out in our home, with the difference being that “Momma’s baby boy” was looking for Momma. We saved him in 2020, when a feral cat brought this pitiful, injured kitten to our door. I was the one who gave him his meds and made sure he didn’t ruin his stitches when they amputated his back leg, and he appreciated all the time and effort I spent on him.
